The Challenge

Design covers for the first two books in a dark fantasy romance series, creating a strong visual identity that connects the books while capturing the danger, mystery and seductive tone of the story.

The Solution

I developed a cohesive cover style using dark, atmospheric forests, classical figures, blood-red details and luxurious gold typography. The repeated imagery, typography and colour palette link the two books as a recognisable series, while the changing compositions reflect each book’s individual story and setting.

The Result

A dramatic and cohesive two-book series that feels distinctive within the dark fantasy romance genre. The covers work individually to attract readers while working together to create a strong, recognisable series identity and a sense of progression between the books.
